Go to [link] and look under the bar "photographers". Listed should be Christopher Morris. He has a eye for placing subjects in oddly simple compositions in wide open spaces. This image was very much akin to that approach.

i went, it looks like very nice work. i'm going to try to go find more, it seems like there would be a larger group of his work somewhere else. they didn't give me many images with that site. seems very political though, i think i liked his work that dealt less with politics more than the work that did though, still very talented though. thank you very much for the recommendation.
