bit is an ikarian girl from my manga legend hunters.
the ikarians are an amphibious race that are similar to newts. though they are most similar to newts, they do share quaities with other amphibians such as croaking of frogs (they make newt sounds too) and strong legs that allow long leaps. they star off as eggs (like frog eggs, they have the infant inside surounded by gell), they then hatch as tadpoles that apear as human infants with no limbs (the tadpole stage, there tail is where there legs should be). they then grow legs and then arms (whe young they are called poliwogs). due to there newt like appearance, they never loose there tail. they do however loose there gills and have to hold there breath underwater after they reach teenage years. bits name was taken from the steriotypical "gribit" sound that cartoon frogs make
