nipponite: the nipponites cannot go out onto land after there shell gets too large as there necks will no longer support the weight. they are poor swimmers and are usualy fairly irritable thanks to neck pain and boredom from sediment life style.

cameroceras: they are faster and much more active then nipponites but are still not likely to go onto land for they find it embarrasing to have to drag themselves along. they can have huge shells and, like the nipponites, are not likely to go into any sort of building.

nectocaris pteryx: beleived to be the first squid ancsestor, they only have two tenticles. becasue they are undeveloped creatures they often stay yonger looking and have more petite frames. like most fossil cecealia, they refrain from going out onto land. for nectocaris pteryx, this is because its harder to balance on two floppy floppy noodles rather then 8
