Description
An exercise in keeping it fresh. This is based on a gorgeous frame from Earth X of the Celestials by the incredible John Paul Leon. I was trying to keep it loose, unfinished and a bit rough around the edges while staying in the lane of the original and add some IRL elements like texture and place as if we were going to see this in Phase 4 of the MCU.ΒRelated content

There is the matter of the Dreaming Celestial, the Eternals, Xternals, and all that zaniness they could eventually work in now that the MCU is merged/going to merge. Which, by the way, sets up for a Logan reboot because in the Ultimates universe he's the first mutant. Actually, in 616 continuity, the first mutant is Selene (really an Xternal, but still first mutant) and there's a lovely kettle of fish there too...

As visually impressive as this is, isn't Knowhere a Celestial's head? I'd imagine the celestials to be ... quite bigger

Celestials seem to vary quite a bit. Ego, in GotG Vol. 2 is called a Celestial, and in GotG, the Collector shows a Celestial using the Power stone to wipe out a planet. Plus, it's difficult to tell how far behind the foreground of the city the Celestials are standing. But Knowhere's size could be similar to the size of these Celestials' heads, since the Milano might be as big is that tiny boat on the bottom left.
