oh I can tell you what they plan if Romney gets elected... take everything away from the poor, and the middle class and give it all to the rich.

and its totally stupid because there is not one shred of evidence that tax breaks for the rich and corporations creates a single job... I saw this interview on The Ed Show one night recently... one of the majority stock holders of Amazon.com... you KNOW this guy has to be super rich... and he explained it quite well...

First of all, businesses do NOT hie simply because they have more money or lower taxes... the ONLY reason a business hires anyone is because they need workers to keep up with the demand for their products. And if there is any other way to keep up with demand, they do that first, hiring is really always a last resort, at least if you want your business to be successful...

And giving money to the rich does NOT increase demand, at lest not in proportion to giving that money back to the middle class... this guy makes thousands of times what a regular person makes, but he doesn't BUY thousands of times what you or I buy... he explained it, he makes a thousand times more, but he doesn't buy a thousand cars, he has three cars... so the best way to help the economy would be to help the poor and middle class to have more money to spend... anything else is counterproductive.

well, yeah he aid that, what he failed to mention is that his first plan if he gets elected is to tear down that safety net... he says the Paul Ryan Budget plan is "marvelous"... it calls for massive cuts to social security, medicare, medicaid, education, housing, everything that helps anyone who isn't rich.

One of the most wonderful things the repugs have done in the past few elections is to take whatever their opponent's best strength is and accuse them of having that as a weakness... when Kerry ran against Bush... they took his military service and tried to make it into some kind of liability...

They also love to take whatever bad thing they want to do, and try to blame the other guy... they say Obama is raising taxes... actually he has lowered taxes even below what Bush had them, and if the Ryan budget was passed it would raise taxes on everyone except the rich, AND drive the debt through the roof... but they try to say the debt is all Obama''s fault, never mentioning that Obama had to create so much debt to fix the mess Bush left us in... if you discount the stimulus packages, Obama has barely raised the debt at all... and if we had not had the stimulus packages, I have a feeling there would not even be a USA, and most of the rest of the world would be in almost as bad shape...

But they have Karl Rove and The Koch Brothers and Crossroads (Karl Rove's SuperPAC) spending billions to convince everyone that everything is the opposite of what it really is... and with that kind of money, it easy to convince a lot of people who are too busy (or too stupid) to actually research things for themselves and find out the truth.

Just yesterday or the day before, there was a bill in front of the Senate, would lower taxes on small businesses and create at least 1 million jobs... the repugs SAY they are all about lowering taxes and creating jobs, but the repugs in the Senate did a filibuster so the bill never came up for a vote... people in this country really ARE hurting, some have to decide if they will pay their mortgage or buy food for christ's sake, and these assholes won't pass this bill or even allow it to be voted on, because if the bill passed, things might get better, and that would make Obama look good and cost them the election... they don't give a shit about who gets hurt, as long as they can take over the whole country

oh I know... they talk a lot about Reagan on The Ed Show and Rachel Maddow and Hardball and The last Word (msnbc programs I watch a lot)

turns out Reagan did lower taxes... he lowered them our times... he also raised taxes... eleven times! the repugs forget to mention that part... and in more than one case, Reagan actually raised taxes on duh duh duh! The RICH!!!!

My dad used to say "when Obama gets elected, you'll miss Bush", and "If Obama gets elected, it will be the end of the nation"... now he says "If Obama gets re-elected"... they were so sure Obama would ruin everything, and when he didn't they changed it to say he has a "secret agenda" and he's waiting for his second term to put it in action... stupid. First of all, he can't even KNOW he will get a second term... and besides, the whole idea of waiting until his second term is all about doing stuff everyone will hate when its too late to stop you... but that assumes Obama doesn't care if he screws everything up for the next democrat to run after him...(which sounds a lot more like the repugs to me... they are always doing stuff that pisses everyone off and makes it impossible to elect another repug next time... Obama is a clear example of that... McCain could not get elected because of all the crap Bush did...)

who says that? when he first said he was in favor of gay marriage, a lot of ultra religious blacks got mad, but the polls are showing that a lot of blacks who were against gay marriage have changed their mind since he said that...

one piece of advice, if you overhear something on Fox News... its most likely bullshit.. and I mean literally... they will tell outright lies that can easily be proven false because they know their loyal watchers will never go check to see if its true...

My dad was just going on about why won't Romney tell everyone how Obama sent all the stimulus money to all these other countries, and Dad truly believes that because so butthead on Fox said so... doesn't matter that you can look it up on the government's own website and track where every dollar went and NONE of it went to other countries... if Fox says it, its true, even if every other source of info says its false

well, I disbelieve nearly everything I hear on Fox News, not that I actually watch it, but I overhear it sometimes and they sometimes show especially bad lies from Fox on the msnbc shows.

I actually think the one who is losing support is Romney... got an email today from one of the Progressive organizations that said even some republicans are calling for him to release more of his tax returns. The whole issue of his money, his foreign bank accounts, his tax returns and the out sourcing of jobs is going to haunt the guy... the more he complains tht he won't release the tax info, and that he "left Bain before all the bad stuff" when the records clearly show he was Owner, Ceo, President, only stockholder and chairman of the board the whole time Bain was closing down factories and sending jobs to China... its getting harder and harder for him to find any way out of the web of lies...

one thing that really gets me is this... he says he did not know anything about foreign bank accounts and such because all his money is in a "blind trust" managed by someone else... and he has no idea what that person is doing with his money... and yet he also maintains that its all legal and he's paid all the taxes on all that money... he can't really say he knos its all legl id he doesn't know what the other person is doing with his money, or he can't say he doesn't know what's being done if he knows its all legal and he paid all the taxes...

well, I am sure it will eventually... one of the msnbc shows is supposed to do an interview with one of the guys who worked at Bain during the time Romney claims he was retired from there... I hope I don't miss the interview. Considering that msnbc is pretty anti-republican, I would guess they will be trying to get info out of this guy that makes Romney look bad, and I can't see why the guy would agree to be interviewed by them unless he had such info and planned to spill it...
