When I wrote about haben das nicht gewusst recently, with regard to the (beyond) flagrant Russian war crimes in Syria, I had a Russian audience in mind, although I'm fully aware of the fact that whatever I write is quite unlikely to ever reach my target. I quit reading the Russian news long ago myself, because the endless stream of lies is too depressing, and besides I don't like to be insulted in every other sentence as a 'westerner'. Russian should be a mandatory language in American schools, just so Americans can read the vile and filthy crap that is written about them over there. They have a name for Americans, 'pindosy', I have no idea what it means or where it comes from, but it can be found all over Runet. Trump supporters might feel quite shocked to find out what is belched out ove there about 'pindosy', i.e. themselves. That is perhaps the scariest thing of all: the amount of hate and contempt that can be hidden behind a language barrier. And reading _about_ it isn't enough, you have to read it for yourself to get the full extent of the stupid hopeless arrogance. They're racist as hell too, although they aren't the only ones at that one. Unfortunately.
