Tallis and Romulus never even got to see their dad's body. Perhaps it was just as well; the sight would have been too dreadful. Though Trent wasn't very well liked in his last days, at least some were genuinely affected by his death, more than they would have believed possible.What's on top of the casket is supposed to be a crown, with a crucifix placed in the center of it.
