Description
I'd been wanting to repaint this guy for a while. Such a nice mold.
I glazed all the white parts in a light spray of silver, then an even lighter overcoat of a cleaner white so he would look more metallic white like the show. Other than that, I actually scrapped show accuracy for once in an attempt to improve his look beyond the show. To me his look was a bit bland in beast Wars and its sad how short lived his stay with the Maximals was.
I painted his feather missiles with a fading dark metallic blue to match the other feathers that are permanently attached, painted his hand claws black, redid all of the flat blue to a more metallic blue, and added lots of gold and blue details all over.
Finally I gave him a bit of battle damage. An eye shield/helmet scar, a chest/talon scar, and a few blast marks on his shoulder. Didn't want to over do it.
I had planned on Tigerhawk getting a full body ink wash to bring out the many details but he just looked so pretty by this point that I didn't want to dirty him up.
