Description
A commission for a friend. His only request was that they not be florescent green. From there I just did my thing. Didn't give them an ink wash or add rust and dirt because it looks more G1 without it.Related content

It has lots of metallic purple on it. Claws, shoulder treads, and other smaller details.

Its not. The lighting takes from the color but it is visibly purple. Get a better monitor.

Ugly color scheme is ok in some cases, BUT This is a Tribute to the actual one + it could have saved them more work, I agree if you on the present colours, I too have other construction vehicles in green

Amazing repaint! Like you were saying, having no rust or any fancy detailing totally is reminiscent of G1 toys. Brings me back

I almost put a commission auction for one of these up today but starting at .99 I might not get enough more than retail price to be worth the work and I'd have to pay Ebay too much if I started it at 199.99 and it didn't sell.

Even the original retail price is almost a kick in the teeth.
I mean, I know I'm beating a dead horse here, but from the toy reviews I've seen on YouTube, what that toy does doesn't exactly justify it's price.
So yeah, you'd end up losing in the end if you put it up on eBay.

Purple, no, but I've seen plenty of outright florescent green construction vehicles. maybe not in each of these types but here in the Memphis area they do exist. The point is though, the mismatched colors of ROTF Devastator are ugly. Ugly is okay though.

I think it is just... weird for to several of his parts because... come on, a green excavator? Or a green truss bulldozer? That is just... unusual, I think. Nice repaint by the way

I gotta be honest. I hate the figure. Huge, clunky, awkward, lacks detail for the size, doesn't form robots, and Mixmaster makes a sound every time you even touch him.
It was fun to see how this looks G1 style though.
