Description After seeing the movie and noticing that Rampage was red, I had to paint the feller. He also had a different type of shovel on the front so I made the sections from epoxy and painted it to look right. Its not perfect but it gets the point across well enough. The shovel is removable for robot mode too which adds to the movie accuracy.

what paints did you use? Did you have to take the toy apart?

Apparently the "red rampage" is now being referred to as "Skipjack",even though he was addressed as Rampage in the movie.

Probably the original design color. I've been told that there was a yellow version in the movie (besides what merged to become Devastator's leg) but I don't recall seeing it.

This is amazingly well done. After seeing this and other customized toys, I am feeling the desire to do this with my own toys, as it looks spectacular. Do you have any tutorials or tips?

Thank you! As for tips, I guess just use spray paint whenever you can. Tape up what you don't want to paint with masking tape and after it all dries paint the details with a brush and some good acrylics.

Good work. Always nice to see movie accuracy.

I except a running change from Hasbro in the right colors at some point.

I expect it as well. "Premium" ya know.

Movie or show accuracy is almost always my goal. I don't know why they cant come as such from the box.

Oh that's cool! Hey, go snag some styrene strips if you want an easy way of adding shovel parts like that again on something. They come in different widths and glue right on.
