Description
I stared into the mirror today,and listened to the sound
Of glass and plastic breaking
- And pieces falling on the ground.
I sat in the park because I wanted
to feed the doves today,
But as soon as I reached my hand out
they turned from me
- And flew away.
I drew a duck on a piece of paper,
and I glued it onto the wall,
I wanted everyone to see it,
but the glue dried and the wind blew it away.
A story has no happy ending
The ugly duckling has to fall.

I like the tone of this, and I feel for the characters, even though I don't believe in happy endings either (well, for the most part...)

This one flowed really, really well. I especially like the impact of the end line. Altho i always hope ugly ducklings will flourish not fail to impress
