New Year's Resolution: I want to have improved so much that I hate this next year.

But at the moment, I'm slightly in awe of the abilities I didn't know I had. T_T;; Composition, lighting, background, two people... I think I was on a roll.

As you can see, I went on a wingpage (instead of a rampage) again-- the majority of the time spent on this picture was probably in inking the wings. T_T;; But they look awesome so I'm not complaining~ This was an accidental picture, if I put it accurately. I was doing some concept sketches for a commission and this one was scrapped... but I still liked it, it just didn't fit the theme. With the wings I'd input, it just kinda inspired me to draw these two of my OCs. I haven't done them in AGES, so I was quite overdue. =w=;

At any rate, these are Eliana (female, left) and Enlai (male, right), two main characters from my Kitheriyan Chronicles series. Enlai is the First Prince of Corinth, a realm that is vastly wealthy but mostly agriculturally-based. Eliana is a hippogrpyh; I didn't really pay attention to it here, but she also has an occassional spotting of red and black feathers in with the tawny gold ones that match her hair. The setting here is Eliana's homeland, where wheatfields are abundant. The sun is really bright, so everything has a golden glow~ The realm itself also has a strange nature to outsiders, causing them to become relaxed and honest unintentionally. Simple personality rundown: Enlai, the playboy prince who is secretly quite responsible and Eliana, the mother-hen type hippogryph who is generally overwhelmed by and afraid of men. Ah, love.
