Description
Nick from yesterday:
A bit about Blikkims:
Anyway, here we go. Yeah, she's not quite that age, but her birthday is in a few days so I decided not to bother with it.
Upgrades:
(None. I've had her only for a month or two.)
Personality (It's nearly 12 AM so I'll add to this later):
Aak is more gentle than most Blikkims. She has a higher sense of morality than most and lives by different standards than what the planet has adopted. Blik has been overtaken with an "I want" attitude and many believe that what they want is always right (that's a story for later). Aak is a brilliant strategic thinker, and has previously been matched with her brother for hundreds of years in a war. She never wanted to fight dirty, though, and that was unfortunately her shortcoming. Her brother, Kaali, wasn't quite as sharp as she was and hired plenty of military strategists to help him make decisions. His were rough, but he never had any problem with typically amoral decisions. Aak is not only a fantastic strategist, she is also a talented leader and is able to keep her cool in many situations that would freak most people out. What Aak makes up for in her mind she lacks in her perceptiveness. It is often difficult for her to understand others and keeping other people happy. She doesn't really know what it's like to be a friend or to be a friend. Since she was raised on such an evil and selfish place, she has not had many friendships with people she truly can trust. Her own brother was her worst enemy. She doesn't know what it's like to have a developed emotional side.
Brief backstory:
Aaksivin of Blik was born next in line for the crown on Blik along with her brother, Kaali. Blik, before it was completely ruled by dictators, was a monarchy. After the former king and queen of Blik had died, each of the children, Kaali and Aaksivin, had become political enemies. Each of the children, without the guidance of their parents, had different ideas about what it is like to share power and lead the planet. Unfortunately, since so much power was put into two bickering individuals, it got out of hand. The sibling rivalry turned into all-out war.
The good-natured Aak foresaw the problems with having so much power laid on one individual and had plans to break up the planet into multiple countries with different leaders. The other, Kaali, saw this as an opportunity to have an easy life where he would be remembered as a powerful political leader. Even worse, as Aak and Kaali began to drift apart, Kaali had plans to betray his sister and have her killed so he would be able to rule as he pleased. Aak found out about this and evaded the attack, and she began to retreat into her own separate country. Once they split, the relationship would never heal.
Aak was heartbroken that her beloved brother had turned into such a monster, but soon she began to resent who he became. Her only plan was to eliminate her brother from the planet so that there could be peace on Blik. Aak had then become obsessed with singlehandedly overtaking her brother with her strategic mind instead of breaking down the country into sections like she had planned before. She was worried that breaking her country would put her at a massive disadvantage during the war. She almost never hired other strategists and most of them were for additional input on her own plans. She was a brilliant thinker, but exceptionally independent.
Her good nature turned to a kindling, subtle hatred toward her enemy. She was unable to see her own evil amidst Kaali's. Their countries followed right along. Racist advertisements were shown across the entire planet with each leader's review and permission. Anti Kaali/Aaksivin rallies were common practices all across Blik to boost morale and patriotism in each country.
The hatred grew in a vicious cycle on each side until Kaali was unexpectedly assassinated by Nikev of Blik. Aak knew that this alien had the cure to a deadly virus that each side was using as a bio-weapon, but Nikev escaped from Blik to avoid getting himself killed for treason. The cure would have saved so many lives on Blik Kaali's side, and would have overtaken Aak's troops. Instead, Blik Kaali separated into smaller groups and attempted to form a governmental system, which failed, for the most part. Aaksivin was able to overcome almost all of Blik, but the racism remained.
When Nikev finally returned to redeem himself and present a cure to the horrible virus that claimed billions of lives earlier, Aaksivin devised a way to stop him and show Blik that the two sides could at last make peace. Aak forced Nikev to "marry" her for show so that the world might have a chance at recovering from their deeply-seeded hatred. What resulted was the exact opposite of what Aak was hoping for. She underestimated just how hateful their society was. Citizens began to destroy Aak's capital building, so she fired an SOS call to Space-Garden to pick her up before the entire structure was destroyed, and which was the place Nikev called home after escaping from Blik. Aak couldn't trust anyone at all, even her own guards. Once loyal patriots felt betrayed by Aak's decision to "marry" Nikev and many planned on killing her themselves. Now, there is no leadership on planet Blik, at least directly. Everything has seemingly gone to ashes as the planet is beginning to destroy itself.
