A lot of my sketches are oh-so messy. It's taken a while for me to get them cleaner without a lot of work or erasing. You can try sketching with a pen from time to time to get yourself used to planning your stokes and getting into the mind set of every-stroke-counts. I didn't like drawing with pen a long time ago, but now I like it and find it very beneficial to my growth as an artist. Sometimes it is just nice to let go and not worry about if it is messy or not, especially if I will just transfer the drawing to watercolour paper afterwards.

Red: "But first we have to do a decision!"
Green: "About what?"
Red: "The names, NAMES! We can't all be called Link! I wear red clothes, so call me Red. You are Blue."
Blue: "Huh?"
Vio: "Purple? No. Violet? No. Isn't that a girl's name? Maybe just Vio...? And Green. What do you think?"
Green: "It's weird, but I guess it makes sense... I guess..."
Blue: "You can't just change people's names! I won't answer to any other than Link!"
Red: "I think it's a great idea! I'm a genius!"
Blue: "You're an idiot! You others can be called with stupid nicknames, I am Link! The MAIN Link! Get it?"
Red: "My nicknames aren't stupid..."
Blue: "Grr..."
Green: "If there's a main Link, it's me! Everyone knows Link dressed in green!"
Blue: "Huh? Rats! You think you're better than me just because you're green! Take it off! We're switching tunics right now! And the hats too!"
Green: "Geez! Why isn't blue me more like laid back and mellow?"
*cough cough* No, I really haven't read this scene like 20 times...

I agree. I thought that Blue and Red's personalities would have been opposite to what Himekawa-sensei did.

They don't actually give individual personalities in the game, actually. Because the manga is way more focused on the characters, making them different makes it more interesting.
