Since there has been some confusion, here's a step-by-step breakdown of what to do.
1) find a ref pic on Google Images/dA/wherever. Don't pick something you drew as a ref (makes this too easy), and try to pick something fairly complicated or interesting to give you lots of things to potentially get wrong (or right).
2) redraw your reference pic freehand (no tracing), as closely as you can. This is what goes in the "With Ref" field.
3) do not peek at what you've drawn or the original for an entire 24 hours.
4) redraw your picture again without peeking at the original or your drawing from the day before. This is what goes in the "Without Ref" field.
5) compare!

So, I came up with an interesting idea for a meme at work today...

The idea of this is to pick a reference picture and redraw it freehand. Then wait 24 hours and try to redraw it again, but this time with no reference--use only your memory from drawing it the previous day. Then compare and see how close you got!

This idea came into my head after drawing Zen from Akusaga from a chapter opening page in vol. 1, then wanting to redraw him at work where I was stuck without reference. I got home and compared the two for fun and astounded myself how much I got right.....and how much was way off.
