I love fall and its colors, especially on trees...yet somehow this picture really doesn't need any color...the magnificence of the tree is quite enough by itself. Great capture!

Beautiful. I have a similar relationship with color. I have been known to take a good color photo, but my photographic brain thinks in black and white.

Nice to hear that I'm not alone with this "disorder". I do love colors and colorful things - but in my own photographs.. I feel that they usually are a distraction from what really happening, the shapes and expressions. It's acomplicated thing, but I'm working on it

Yes, it's easy to take a good photo when you have a superb subject. I have to admit I spent hours post-processing this and for a moment I actually felt like I was raping a whole season whilst doing in in black and white. All for one tree, and I'm not even a tree fan. Branches make me anxious. Yay!
