I'm new to cinema 4d so it's too bright for me too but I didn't find the right numbers for infinity light object.

try gamma settings in rendersettings /Global illumination ^^
or when u use no GI
take a sunlight objekt instead of a infinite light
it has more options

Thank you! ^_^ I'll try it later. Actually I was using infinite light + vray tag = sunlight...So I'll try gamma settings!

jeah vray sun is best but you must use a vray camera.
try to use the shutter speed in there to adjust the brightness
i´m away from vray4c4d since i have c4d11 the renderer there is awesome great and fast and fully supports the rest of c4d funktions and materials
i´m tired of using complicated vray mats
