I always hope that up this close those dust clouds in nebulae would still appear to look this solid. Imagine being on a planet inside the hollowed out part of the "trunk" here - they'd have an awesome night sky!

The texture kind of makes it look like it was painted on paper - or taken through a noisy camera. As the title suggests, it kind of looks like a cross between a nebula and an organic form like a tree or fungus, which is interesting.
