Tribute to my friend work, the Exatoran build ! I named this one KaΓ―ohoti
Had the model to print since last Christmas and I'm glad to finally print it. As you may know, I got a huge respect for RC's designs and this one didn't desappointed me. I however made modifications on the front and back armors, since he forgot to make some, this a reuse of early models on his Toa Botora armor. Lower arms and upper legs pieces are a personal composition along with the spear and the central technic piece that allows to hold the front armor and the light core.
The model is 80% 3Dprinted, highly poseable and even features a hip articulation.

Will these parts ever be released to print in the future? Because all of these parts, the limbs especially, are honestly stark improvements over the crappy limbs we got in the last two years of BIONICLE for the Matoran/Agori.

Awesome! Glad to see these awesome parts available. Honestly, I'm starting to become more, and more impressed with fan-made parts, and more disappointed with LEGO's offerings sans a few odds, and ends Technic bits that came out recently, to a point I think people like this on Shapeways might be the future of LEGO constraction.
I mean, look at how LEGO handles it now. BIONICLE G2 was a disaster with a wasted budget on gold masks, and basically no advertisement with a very uninteresting story dumbed down way too much all culminating in the series being cancelled when the sets were starting to look really good. That, and Star Wars losing sales because the people behind the films are incompetent. I sadly see LEGO nixing constraction if the rumored original constraction theme they might be making in the next two years doesn't hit some kind of mark.
This guy, among others, might be the leaders of LEGO constraction if things go south for LEGO's next theme involving it.
Oh, by the by, if I mayask as such, since you're friends with this guy, I'd love to ask if I could, through PM preferably, inquire something about him.

The more I look at this, the more I wish the Av-Matoran and Agori had this build style instead. It's just too good.
