Frankly, I really don't want to do a Wolverine because he's over used already. Everybody draws him! He's got too many titles and appears in many other titles not his, and a movie is coming out! Oooh... what the heck.Related content

You are right on all counts! Remember when he was all loner-esque? When the only team on which he appeared was the X-Men, and even then he was kinda spotty? Man.

The foreground is great-- incredible!
The background looks hasty, though.. Just a suggestion, but I think if you used a watercolor wash to shade the background, it would be a lot smoother and wouldn't take away from the details in the front. I don't know if it's past the point of no return or not, but I'm just suggesting

I'm really fearful of watercolor, but interestingly enough, I like it better than oils. But you're right, I should have tried a wash and start somewhere to learn the skill.
