For KanaYuzukiI almost completely just threw this one out, as i wasnt happy with how it was progressing. I decided to keep going, and although its not fantastic, it didnt turn out as horribly as i had predicted.
As i know there are many, many faults with this one, please feel free to leave some advice or comments on areas that particularly need addressing

Yes, that is how you have shaded painted without blurring. It looks like that is ... especially the tail.Β Β

Funnily enough i sometimes do accidentally smudge a bit with the side of my hand, but ive learnt to pick which areas to shade first as to minimise such a problem (usually working from the top left to the bottom right)Β
When ive 'finished' it the first time i then go back and increase the contrast of certain areas, as im quite a fan of that look, and so darken the borders or areas and then gradually blend that back into the rest of the sketch
I do also use my finger to smooth the sketch lines/shading together (pre-contrast enhancement) by just rubbing in the same direction of the shading/feathers/fur etcΒ

The pose and sense of movement is awesome! Love the composition. It's mostly small details that I think you may want to tackle more carefully next time. One of the larger ones would be the main body shape & pose -- it's an ambitious and complicated pose, and you're close to nailing it but something is just a bit off about it.

This piece is amazing, I dare say the best one you've done yet. The angle is so great it makes me jalous that I couldn't think of something like that aswell.
But...You should stop being so hard on yourself, not only because it's bad for your motivation but you also have to consider, that there might be some people here in the comments with a lot more inferior drawing skills than you have. Just imagine the monologue in their head. "If this guy thinks his work is not that good, what is my stuff then, utter crap?"
I speak from experience by the way, people are not fond of that way of self-critizism

Thank you so much! I Have been really enjoying my sketching work and trying new things. Some Pokemon i find hard to place as i always want to capture a certain aspect of their personality - grace, speed, power, playfulness etc - but sometimes struggle to find the right pose to project that
Thank you also for the advice. I hadnt really considered the effect that i may have on others, so i apologise to anyone who felt that way. I guess i just never wanted to sound arrogant and like i thought my work was perfect, which i know it isnt, but i can definitely see your point
