Originally, the only part of this image actually up here on DA was "Timid in Chains." I didn't concieve the rest of the image until after Jewel suggested I color it. Slade's head was drawn in photoshop, Rage's hand was hand drawn and inked, and Rage's body was inked in photoshop.

I took a bit of artistic liberty here in some minor areas. I know Slade's eye is really gray/slate blue, and originally it was. I changed it to purple to balance Raven and Timid's hair. Usually I hate the gradient tool, but I used it to dot the piece with the blues and grays to balance Raven and Timid's cloak. Raven's hood is shaped funny. I didn't want to hide her face, and the design I used helped flow smoothly with that line there. Also, the chains were to be red to signify the inscriptions, but the meaning of it and the actual chains would get lost in Rage's cloak. So gold it was. Rage's hand doesn't don Raven's usual glove and wrist band. Why? I probably forgot to draw it, but I think it would've deminished the affect of the hand altogether.

Not quite sure how else to describe this image. Surprisingly, I had no idea it would fit in so well with the somber mood and actions of Raven in "The End ptI." I think the final canvas size was 15 by 20? Somewhere around there.

EDIT: Saki-chan pointed out that Timid's hand had no thumb, I finally got around to putting it on. Thanks Saki!
