Watching intently as Hajime firmly ushered you into the already full cell, Nico sneakily nudged at Uno. “What's she doing here?" He whispered, understandably confused about what was going on. "And why is she dressed like one of us? Hajime isn't going to make her stay in here with us, is he?”

“Looks like someone got into a little bit of trouble, doesn't it? I wonder what she could have done to get her thrown in here with us. It must have been something pretty bad.” Sure he had a pretty good idea as to why you were in trouble, Uno smirked.

“Why is she here?” Only now noticing the scene unfolding before him, Jyugo scrambled out of his seated position on the other side of the room and greeted you with a less than pleasant frown on his face. “What are you doing, and why are you dressed like that?”

“I told you that you were going to end up getting me in trouble, didn't I? I did tell you, and I told you more than once. Well I was right, I did get into trouble.” Arms crossed firmly over your chest, you let out a loud snort. “You got me in trouble and this is my punishment. I would have gotten fired had Seitarou not basically begged Hajime to give me another chance.”

Suddenly looking confused, Jyugo's frown faded. “Your punishment is that you have to dress like an inmate?”

“No, my punishment is that I have to spend a few days living like an inmate. I'm basically under arrest until Hajime decides that I've learned my lesson. Apparently being caught asleep in the same bed as an inmate is a seriously big deal.” You sighed. “So who knows how long I'm going to have to live like this.” Shooting him an icy glare, you half hissed out your next words. “I'm not getting paid during those days either, so thanks a lot for getting me into this mess.”

Jyugo only shrugged. It was obvious he didn't feel even slightly guilty about this, despite the fact that he had certainly had a hand in getting you into trouble. “I don't know why you're blaming me. It's not my fault.”

“W-what?” He couldn't be serious, could he? There was just no way he could put all the blame on you. Sure you could have been more firm with him, but if he hadn't been so difficult none of this would have even happened in the first place. “What do you mean it's not your fault? This is literally all your fault. All of it.”

“Whatever. I'm going to bed.” Waving you off as if trying to dismiss everything, Jyugo turned around and tried to walk away.

Not about to let him weasel his way out of this, you grabbed onto his shirt and pulled him back to you before he'd taken a single step. “Oh no you're not. It's like two in the afternoon. Why would you go to bed?” Though you could feel your anger growing, you were trying as hard as you could to remain at least somewhat calm. Unfortunately, that wasn't easy with Jyugo acting this way. “At least accept half of the guilt. That's the very least you could do.”

“No. I'm not taking the blame for something that isn't my fault. Just admit that you're no good at your job. If you were any good at it, you wouldn't be getting punished right now.” Defiant as ever, Jyugo shook his head. “And I'm going to bed so I don't have to hear you complaining.”

Gritting your teeth, you clenched his shirt even tighter. Some of what he said might have been true, but that only served to make you even more upset. “Why you little-.”

Not wanting things to get any more out of hand than they already had, Rock tried to get between you and Jyugo. “Hey, both of you calm down. You're making a scene. You're going to get all of us into trouble if you don't calm down.”

Both instantly turning your rage towards Rock, you and Jyugo snapped at him. “You stay out of this!”

“I think I know what the problem here is.” After shoving Rock aside, Uno roughly placed a hand on your back. Doing the same to Jyugo, he pushed the two of you together so that there wasn't a bit of space between your bodies. If he was trying to make the two of you hug each other, it wasn't going to happen. Even so, he seemed happy with what he'd accomplished. “There. Now isn't that better?”

“No it's not better.” Jyugo groaned, now trying desperately to free himself from Uno's hold. “Why would it be better? If anything, this is worse.”

“Oh?” Moving his hand from your backs, to your heads, Uno forced you and Jyugo into a messy, almost comical kiss. Comical as it was, the kiss caused every last bit of your anger to vanish. After a few seconds, he finally let the two of you go. “How about now?”

Stepping away from you as soon as he got the change, Jyugo shook his head. “I'm not answering that.”

Seeing as you weren't really all that angry anymore, you actually found yourself agreeing with Uno. Sure his method had been a little bit weird, but if it worked it worked. Besides, anything that made Jyugo's face turn that red was a win in your book. “I think it's a little better.”

“See, she gets it. Now I'm going over there. Don't make me come back again or you'll both regret it.” Smiling as if there had never even been an argument, Uno turned on his heel and returned to his corner of the cell.

Almost before Uno had turned away, Jyugo started scolding you. “Why would you do that?”

“Do what?” Enjoying how flustered he had become a little more than you probably should have been, you couldn't keep yourself from grinning.

For a second, Jyugo silently tried to figure out if you were asking because you were actually confused, or if you were asking just to annoy him. When he couldn't read your expression after a full minute, he simply gave up. “Why would you encourage him.”

“I wasn't encouraging him, I was being honest.” Sensing that Jyugo didn't believe you, you explained. “I mean, we're not fighting anymore, are we? Not fighting is better than fighting.”

Though he didn't want to admit it, you had a point. Still, neither of you were sure why Uno's idea had worked. “I guess that's true.”

“Exactly. So from now on when you try to start fighting with me, that's what's going to happen.” The idea sounded much better in your head than it had out loud, but it was too late to back out now. As long as Jyugo didn't know that you were second guessing yourself, you should be able to pull this off. “And by “that”, I mean I'm going to kiss you. You may think that you can escape from anything, but you can't escape my kisses.”

Jyugo actually looked like he might laugh. “You can't be serious. That's never going to work.”

“On the contrary, I'm completely serious.” Narrowing your eyes at him, you silently dared him to say anything cross or negative about your plan. “What's so funny?”

Grinning a wide, sarcastic grin, Jyugo didn't hesitate for even a second before he explained exactly why your plan was doomed to fail. “If you do something stupid like that, you're going to end up an inmate here permanently. Is that what you want?”

Why hadn't you thought of that before now? That kind of behavior was exactly what had gotten you into this situation to begin with. It didn't matter though, your pride wouldn't let you admit that he was right. “No, I don't want to be an inmate. And I won't be one for much longer.” Feigning confidence, you nodded. “I just have to make sure that I don't get caught. That's all.”

“Yeah, because you've done such a great job of not getting caught in the past.” Not about to start another fight, Jyugo turned away from you in an attempt to hide his snickering. “Good luck with that.”
