Description
You take me by the hand and spin me around,
Spinning me until we fall over dizzily,
Laughing so much it hurts,
As the sun makes patterns on our closed eyelids,
The wind swirls around us,
Making the dandelion seeds fly to a new location,
As I turn my head to face you,
I see your eyes staring back at me,
I can't help but smile,
At the face of an angel,
I yearn to reach out and touch you,
To make sure I'm not dreaming,
I inch my hand closer to yours,
But you meet me half way,
A spark tingles through my fingertips at our touch,
You take my hand in yours,
And roll onto your side to face me,
And trace aimlessly on my hand,
I look back up at the sky and close my eyes,
I can soon feel the air changing,
Slowly darkness in the form of clouds creep over,
Suddenly your pulling me to my feet telling me we have to go,
My eyes open to see black clouds hanging overhead,
A single drop of rain falls on my head,
And I know why we must leave,
Many drops soon follow,
And we are running,
Down the hill so fast I think we would trip over,
The rain gets heavier and thunder rumbles,
There is a small shelter up ahead,
You seem to be pulling me along faster now,
My heart is racing and my legs getting sore,
A few more feet I tell myself,
We finally make it to the shelter,
I am gasping for air as are you,
My legs feel like jelly as I collapse to the ground,
You look down at me and smile,
Almost making me hyperventilate,
You sit beside me and wipe the wet hair from my face,
I stare at you mesmerized by you eyes,
You tell me that I'm beautiful and I drift away,
This must be a dream I tell myself shaking my head,
But I don't wake up 'Your not asleep silly.' you tell me,
Again taking me by the hand,
Forcing me to run through the storm around us,
Then I can see my house,
But I don't want to go home, Not yet,
I just want to be with you,
Always and Forever.
