Here we have Fennel hanging out upside down and it looks like he's enjoying a Crunchy Claw . Now, these little treats are not just his favorite food but they are also considered his vice. The poor guy often daydreams about them and he will be quick to rouse his attention should a gro have these on hand. Sadly enough, crunchy claws generally require earth magic to fully enjoy and guess what Fennel doesn't have. With this in mind, he often finds himself seeking aid from Ava or other wyngrew versed in earth magic. He may be caught fulfilling favors to these Gro in exchange for sprouting the seed so that he can fully enjoy the delightful treat.
Ahhh, and what do we have here? It looks like his horns are finally growing and... is something happening to his coloration?
I've been putting this off for wayyyyyy to long. For some reason I just couldn't bring myself to draw Fennel eating or interacting with his favorite food since he hatched. Bah! Regardless, it's finally done and I knocked out the requirement for webbed back wings. Hrmmm. Now to apply or not to apply. That is the question.

Shay walks towards Fennel, notably with one arm wrapped in bandage.
"F-fennel? Who is Sheke?" He asks, nervously.

The quad looks over and calmly looks over the small orange wyngling. His eyes catch onto the wrapped arm but does not swell. "Sheke? Hrm... I'm not quite sure."

"I... uhm... something happened last night, and... they're saying his name all over but won't spill who the heck that even is." Shay says, a bit uncomfortable.

"Well, I'm sorry but I don't have any information on this 'Sheke' you speak of." He flicked his tail and shook his head.

Shay sits down beside Fennel, gazing at his wrapped arm. "...*sigh*... I... I almost got myself killed last night. Should've never gone to that forest..."

*Shay curiously walks around when he sees Fennel drowsing off... the ultimate prey! He tries to sneak towards Fennel and, when close, give a terrifying(-ly cute, as he's still a baby xD) growl in attempt to scare Fennel*

Fennel's ears twitched in response to the wynglings roar but did nothing more. Slowly the quad opened his eyes only to reveal an orange wyngling who's attempt of a frightful growl did nothing more than stir him from his comfort. A brief moment passed as he locked his striking yellow gaze upon Shay's vibrant blue; he blinked and released a deep growl of amusement. A gentle blue whispered from his magic glands and the quad opened his jaw ever so slightly revealing tendrils of of frigid breath. With a small huff a cloud of frost rolled out from Fennel's maw and onto the wyngling before him.

Shay tumbles backwards from surprise as he feels a sudden cold breeze over his face, and soon after tries to stand up again still in confusement.
"W-woah, how did you..." He says, slowly reminding again to what he originally wanted to say. "E-ehm, never mind that... I need some help with, well, my scarf, I can't reach my back :\." He says, while presenting his blue scarf with the small bell on it.

An amused gleam glinted in his eyes as the wyngling recoiled from the frost breath. His magic glands muted back to black as the orange wyngro questioned what had happened, only to dismiss it and mention his trouble with the scarf. Fennel arced a brow as he inspected the scarf from his reversed perspective. "Hmmm? I take it you're asking for my help." He growled in response and looked over Shay before nodding, "Fair enough. Do you just need it wrapped around or tied?"

"I... ehm... don't know, maybe tied? I-I just got it from... uhm..." Shay tried to say but stopped as his voice slowly started to tremble, avoiding supsiscion. He shakes his head and hands over the scarf. "Y-yes, tied please."

Fennel watched the wyngling carefully as he proceeded to make a decision. Something certainly seemed off but it was not his position to pry for any further details. "Tied it is." The quad twisted his body and placed one massive claw onto the floor. Skillfully he slipped forward and kicked himself off until he was right-side-up and sitting in front of the wyngling. Fennel then raised his claw and held it out for the scarf.

"Thanks!" Shay hands over the scarf to Fennel.

Fennel took the scarf and folded it in half. He then proceeded to placed it over the wynglings neck and pull the end through the loop. Finally he tugged the edges of the scarf until it sat snug up against Shay's neck. "How's that?"

Shay tries to feel how the scarf is, and nods to Fennel "It fits really good, thank you."
For a while it's quiet as Shay looks at the small bell of his scarf. "Could... I ask you something? do you know where we came from?"

Fennel nodded in response but remained where he sat with his eyes set upon the wyngling. He was expecting the boy to get up and carry on with his day but instead he remained in shared silence. After a few moments a new question was raised, one of which he had not been expecting. "Hrmmm?" The quad blinked twice and shrugged, "That's a bit vague... but if you mean the Wyngrew species as a whole... Well..." Fennel took a deep breath and closed his eyes, "There's a religion called Luxhallow that believes that the goddess Chii'Falla created our ancestors long, long ago. That's just part of that particular belief, though. I'm sure there are others that may say different." He opened his eyes and looked back to Shay, "Does that satisfy your question?"

Shay shakes his head a bit.
"N-no, that's not what I meant, I meant something more... 'recent'." Shay seems to be holding his scarf a bit tighter with his paw. "...a-as in, how you and I were brought here, personally. I'm... *sigh*... s-sorry, I shouldn't disturb you with this."

Fennel froze stock still as the wyngling explained it further. It was... quite the question. "Ah, no you're fine. Ahm." The quad raised one of his claws and placed it on the back of his neck, looking away. "Everyone here has a story of their own so there's no real straight answer. The best you can do is ask around but do be careful-- some are more sensitive than others."

"...Sensitive..." *fiddles more with his scarf* "...I-I need to go now. Thanks again for helping me with the scarf." *Shay nods at Fennel before casually walking away.*
