I just got the latest EGM and it has a feature on a new game coming out soon. I don't want to spoil it for anybody so I won't reveal the game. This will be one of the new enemies we'll get to shoot at. They're called Drones, but they're also known as "buggers". Sketched it out at @ 30 minutes and added the grayscale in the computer at @ 30 minutes.Related content

Its the drones from halo, the have te same hands and curled toes and the wings are the same. You changed the head though, I like it better like this!

I hate these things... They seem so frail, but they're a lot harder to kill than they look. Still.. it's hard to be angry at them when you make them look this cool.. =3 semper fi, man. Great work.

so you might wanna redo a little before people start pointing fingers and acusing you of stealing squaresofts ideas but it still looks awesome

Nice sketch dude, I really like the pose of the Drone. It is very intimidating and suggests an air of shrouded past. We don't know where they came from so it will be interesting to learn about their history in less than a month...

Amazing work at only 30 minutes. When I hear the word bugger, I can't help but think of the Ender's game series. OSC is currently working with a studio to develope a game, but I don't think it follows the Ender storyline.

Nope, it doesn't follow the ender story. It's called Advent Rising. It looks awesome. Orson Scott Card is one of my favorite authors, and all the Ender books are terrific. But let's not kid ourselves, Ender's Game would make a horrible video game. There really wouldn't be much that you could do with it.

you could play Ender's learning game with the giants and stuff. that would be sort of freaky though, especially if you get past that part, then that means you're as smart as Ender.

Yeah, except we know how to do it. Just go for the eyeballs. But it would still be interesting. It would be cool if the game based on the Ender's series was just the Mind Game from Battle School, and that was it. Except for the Mind Game is extremely complex, and I don't think we're capable of making anything that complex yet.

Enders? Zone of Enders? That was an okay game. But nice sketch. I mean, it looks like it's good enough to hold it's own, but still only powerful enough to just be a worker/drone. So, coolness! Love the gray scale!
