This is a requested tutorial from [link] of how to draw a basic face at a 3/4 view.

Start out by drawing the basic shape of a human head. *If you're drawing a male it's more of an oval shape, but in this case it's more of an "egg" shape because I'm drawing a female. The next thing you want to do is lightly sketch a vertical line to determine the center of the face as if you were looking at it from a 3/4 view. Next, sketch a similar line going across at about halfway down the head to determine where the eyes go. *IMPORTANT* Notice how I sketched the lines in with a slight curve or bend to them. This gives a sense of depth to the character's face, making it more believable.
On the next part, I went ahead & lightly drew in where the facial features are going to go.(eyes, eyebrows, nose, mouth, hair line & ears) I also drew in a few examples of different noses & ears, since it seems these are the two things most beginning artists have the most trouble with.
On the final head, you can see that I've gone in & added the details over the sketched facial features from the previous head shot. When drawing hair, it's important to lightly sketch out the shape of how you want it to go & if you're drawing lighter colored hair such as blonde, don't add too many detail lines or it won't look right. I could go into hair in more detail, but that's an entire tutorial in itself!
