There was a flash of light. The boom of Cresselia's voice wracked Frost's brain.

…an emergency has arisen….your help is required.

Her eyes snapped open at the yelling of the Messengers. What greeted her vision was the visage of a living hell. Trees ravaged by fire and some ripped from the earth. A dusty sheen of ash lined the ground and filled the air as if it were snow. The crackling flames rose to the sky, enveloping it in a hellish red light. She raises her arms to her face to try and shield from the intense heat.

“Lapis! Doll! Margo!!” The trainer cried, though her voice barely registered over the roaring flames. “We need to put the fire out now!!”

A blue colored Sylveon stepped forward and jumped into the air, water pulling from the air around her to form transparent wings. The gem on her chest shone briefly as she took in a deep breath. What came out was a torrent of water that smashed into the bases of the trees and the ground, sending dirt, grime and sludged ash in every direction. Lapis' Hydro Pump caused the trees and ground to crackle and groan from the change in temperature.

“..Ugh...fire..eww..” Margo cringed as she raised and eyebrow, her tail bristling a bit as she spaced her paws. The air around her grew colder and colder. “Ok, we've got this. DOLL!”

Almost on cue, the ghostly Glaceon mix floated upwards, opening her mouth. Mist poured forth, almost dripping downwards to creep along the ground. There was a sudden gust that roared forth towards the flames. Ice crystals flew forth, embedding in and growing on the trees and ground.

The ground around Margo froze and a rush of Icy Wind swept up into Pareidolia's Blizzard, an attempt to at least boost it's strength or radius at least. The Sneasel mix staggered a bit, Ice moves didn't come easy to her.. She was used to misty parlor tricks but could never manage so much as a crystal to form.

Frost stared in awe as her Pokemon battled the flames. Startled pokemon that were trapped by the blaze before began to flee, darting through the flames. Better to risk burns than to die.

“T..This way!” She waved to the wild Pokemon, trying to guide them to where she hoped they would be safer. She was still insecure from last week's visions. She was just a girl, true. But she would do her best to help. This was her HOME. She'd be damned if she'd allow a vital part of it to be destroyed, let alone wipe out the rest of their land.

No, it's not paradise, but it's all we want.. And it's what we're fighting for.
