Description Megatron is finally done. Started back in September 2006, but was close to done for over a year now. He's built to be able to transform, but this final version can't, as I probably wouldn't finish till 2011, lol. This color scheme is based off the Classics version originally, but with the purple changed to black. Since I planned it, the Henkei version came out, so I used that to add extra color detailings.

I've done a bunch of renders to show off all the detailing, but I won't bombard my DA gallery with them all, so you can view them all here:

Again, this still amazes me. The detail is so kick aft. Even in his optics...lol I really like his nose. ^^

Thanks. His nose was fun, I tried to give him some character with it, by shaping it different.

Amazing He's looking rather friendly though The lips are awesome - I like the mixture of very edgy optics and cheeks and then those finely curves soft lips. I like to model my tf's faces just the same way. Not that my models reach the details of yours

What program do you use?

Thanks for your comments. Your Jazz model looks great. I use Softimage XSI for my 3d works. Been using it for 6 years now. I really like the modeling tools it has.

It looks impressive. I'm too deep in 3ds max by now to change program I guess, though Max has quite some quirks

I use to use 3d Max during highschool. I switched over to XSI, as that was the program they taught in college. I plan to relearn 3D Max soon, as I've found a lot of companies around here are looking for modelers who know Max. It use to be XSI when I was in college, then switched to Maya when I graduated. Now Max is the big thing, hehe.

That's strange. I always had the impression Max was the thing asked for in business. But perhaps that's because I'm only in the topic for the last four years
But since Autodesk is buying everything in its way anyway... I guess I'm on a rather safe side there.

Thats true, Autodesk monopolizing the 3d industry's software, lol.
