what software did u use? can u explain the render tree, how u achieve this look?

I use Softimage. The render was just a car shader, standard with newer Softimage versions, and HDRI lighting.

Incredible. Detail is astounding and coloring superb. Many digital models look great but are somehow "blank". Yours has character. Well done.

I have the Ultra Magnus repaint of this toy. One thing that always struck me was that the legs are so beefy on this mold.
I am sure you are very meticulous in your design and measurements but the legs seem small here. Perhaps it is the angle but they seem short and not as hefty. Was that done consciously or am I just plain wrong?

Actually, this model was started months before the toy even hit retail. I worked off two images Hasbro released, and the original concept art by Don, which was leaked online. I had most of him done by the time I got the toy in hand. So that is why there are so much differences.
