I haven't really talked that much about AI art here on dA, but I've definitely made my opinion known over on Twitter. While I won't repeat everything I've said on the subject, I will say that - in its current iteration - AI art is THEFT.

Until a dataset can be crafted ethically from willing participants paid for their contributions or on a -willing- volunteer basis, I will not support AI-generated 'art'. I think - if ethically done - it could be a neat tool! But right now, it's just a scam trying to scrape off of artists and steal their shit right out from under them. And that is Not cool.
