Happy New Year!What better way to start 2011 than with some excessive bromance? Awww yeah.
I intended this to be on New Year's Day but then it ended up being a bit of a MONSTER and took a lot longer. But hopefully my efforts are well worth it. This was done wholly with brush pens and copic markers (minus the text which is of course Webletterer from www.blambot.com just in case you were wondering). I found out I am REALLY slow with brush pen and copics, just for the record.
I hope you guys are having a great one, miss you much but hopefully this will make you forgive me for being a bit absent during the month of December! Hope to have a real strip up soon. You know I love you much.

Very touching- I dunno, it sorta made my insides feel all...fuzzy? Maybe it's because I know how it feels to be attached to a friend so strongly that you really fear the option of loosing them...that, or maybe I need to see a doctor- fuzzy insides don't seem all that normal. Anyhow, thank you for this lovely strip, it made my stressful morning a lot less stressful.

Really, sometimes I tend to forget someone's really is behind these pictures. But seeing traditional stuff, I feel like "wooooah, someone really do this on a piece of paper?! Crazy!"

For one thing, I fall in love with [...] every time you draw him. I thought I'd just get that out of the way. The other thing: I love how simple you make your copic techniques look. Even monochromatic this way, which I really like.

and no hanna you are not a screw up. you screw up but you are in NO WAY a screw up. everybody screws up, some people more than others, and that's fine. you have a heart painstakingly put together using the best of everything you can find. you put so much effort into making people happy and keeping people safe at the expense of yourself and just COME ON MAN.
when you would probably rather smash your heart into pieces so that everybody else can enjoy theirs for a little bit longer, i think you can't be classified as a screw up.
tl;dr i'm pretty much writing a love letter to a fictional character because even if he's fictional he still has a heart.

FRIK-IN FANTASTIC Easily my favorite page of the entire comic, and this is a comic I LIKE!
The character development is killer, the art is killer, your sense of composition is killer, In fact, the only thing that would be MORE killer is if you succeeded at the hand lettering, that would have taken this well over the top.
But I can't complain, My handwriting looks like it was made by two cats fighting over a quill pen.
