Everyone knows a time when you feel like you would rather curl up and let the world escape you, and suddenly time has stopped for you but the rest of the world keeps going, keeps pushing. All those times when you had wished that curling up would give you an easy escape and it didn't.I have been wanting to draw a picture like this with Wade in it ever since I heard the song "man fading" by Kenna that maui ([link] ) sent me. Just now I got it somewhat the way I want it. I used Sharpie, a V7 roller ball, and india ink. I used PS to make the windows because I knew I would screw up badly with sharpie. I messed up my keyboard when I sprayed this with black ink. Now it looks like my keyboard has some sort of disease.

The ink splatters here are an amazing asset to the work! You spread the dots in such a matter that it really focuses your attention, yet gives the piece the right mood. Wade's curled up position is great, and the oncoming traffic shows the how the world is flying by. (At least, to me. Maybe I'm just weird! X3) Great great work.

oh and maybe a spotted keyboard wouldn't look so bad... really. unless there are really big splotches on keys that you don't know what letter they are.

woooowww... excellent composition, you pulled off the pose perfectly so far as I can see...And I LOVE the shaky effect you used with this...poor, poor Wade... He looks like he's in such agony and turmoil... T_T

i knew it was based on the kenna song right when i hovered over the thumb and saw the title... ive been stuck on that album for so long.... its amazing.

I am kinda feeling that way now..... I want to just be alone for a while and have everything waiting for me.... everything back to normal. Perfect. No problems. Nothing changing. Meh, I can't believe how much awesomeness I've come back to today. That's really such a strong image and it's just absolutely beautiful. The composition is so eye catching and it's just so strong. Emotion is the hardest media to work with and you've got it completely whipped. Besides that....Wade's just drop dead sexy, but we all knew that already. Let's just say you really out did yourself with this picture.

It does look incredibly spiffy... like the kind of spiffy you'd see on an album cover for a really cool band... or a comic cover... some sort of spiffy cover of spiffiness.

Oh how I love you, vert! Another fabulous pic! And so wonderfully done! I have a kinda similar one somewhere, but no where near as effective. Your normal use of the black and white is most excellent, with the splatters adding something magnificent! I felt so sad when I saw this picture, kind of lonely and fading away myself!
