I wanted to make a simple side-scrolling flash game, but learning to code in Actionscript is like watching CSPAN - boring and incomprehensible. :<So I'll content myself with making little movie clips/designing levels as if I was capable of coding them together into a game. :'C
It was going to be a little game where you run around as toon Ganon collecting Triforce pieces and causing trouble for everybody with Link as the final boss. One day I may figure out how to code it together.

Well, in the game he'll be much smaller, with a harder-to-see face, so his facial expression was mostly for my own amusement.
But I'll keep it in mind to change it if you can still tell during gameplay...

Good luck with turning it into a game. Coding in general can be really boring, tedious, and frustrating, but the product is usually worth it

Thanks. I'm finding that to be the case. Code would be easier to learn if there was one set way to do anything. But I guess that's the whole point, and I'm missing it.

Two swords, naturally! A little dual-wielding punk. That and some magic powers maybe.
I mean, since I can't do it, I might as well dream big: I wanted him to be able to control monsters that come to attack him - to force them to fight for him. Like, a bunch of keese, he could do a spell that send all the monsters in the frame after Link or innocent townspeople or something. XD

I giggle in glee. It's a game where you don't get experience for fighting monsters, but for encountering monsters and bending them to your will. The more people you terrorize, the more points you get.
Link is the Scary Captain of the Guard and he comes to put a stop to your fun, wherein you go all flying terror at him, and you need to put monsters between him and you or else he'll KO you easily. :3

I'd refer you to my awesome computertechfriend but I have a feeling he does wayyy different coding and also he's still going to school and spends his time on that and apparently prank coding and send it to people so their desktop is covered by 3000 files saying "i like dick" so mature.
