I haven't drawn much of anything for a long long time (due to moving house, mainly) but I thought it would be an idea to try and sketch a character from my work-in-progress novel, and if, after 10 minutes it was looking good, to keep on going and finish it. It looked good after about 15 minutes, so....

It's the first half-decent thing I've done for a while. So sorry for the anime style! I'll break into another style sometime... maybe... hehe.

Anyway, again it's all Wacom and PS - Limited Edition! Only one undo! He's an infantry soldier in the British Army. I could have spent a little more time on his regimental badge, but I'll do that some other time: like most of my stuff, it's a rough sketchy picture, a characterisation, so the detail (or lack of) doesn't really bother me. The uniform probably isn't entirely accurate but I couldn't find any particularly good reference pictures. Anyway, he looks the part.

So, to conclude. Sketchy lineart, rough and ready background, simple pose, but it's the best damn thing I've drawn for months and months, so I'm happy
