gahhhh it reminds me of some metal,it looks like diamonds because it's carved and is shiny but a gun metal color, it begins with an 'm' it's used for jewelry. it's not a gem or a metal. jeez. this going to MARQUISETTEΒ

Hm, the first thing this reminded me of was a film strip. Having read the comments, I like the fact that this piece can be interpreted in so many ways! It's a really great series as a whole, possibly my favourite of yours.

Yes, I can see the film strip, perforated on the edges. The impression is probably helped by the fact that the image is grayscale rather than colored. Thanks for sharing your impression, Chris. Great to hear it and also that you're enjoying the series!
