I hated those moments in the video walkthrough where the shadow was near and the player was not only out of oil but tinder as well. Kept screaming at the screen "run already!" only to see him get nomed. Amnesia is truly the best horror game out there

This is really a beautiful redition of Daniel. I like it so much more than the canon version...
But seriously--this piece gets me every time I see it, and I've been plucking up the vocabulary to critique it. The pose is brilliant, and very realistic for a hiding Danny. However, for added effect of paranoia, I suggest some shading around the fingers on the mouth, to make it look like he's really clamping down.
The texture and design is fantastic! I really hope you do more like this... I love the bleeding out of the ear. Nice touch~

Oh poor Daniel. I always feel bad for him when his vision starts to go blurry and twisted. Though I would like to point out that I wish he could cover his mouth in the game. Whenever I'm hiding somewhere with the lights off I always get slightly concerned that a monster is going to hear his heavy breathing.

This is wonderfulllll! Whenever the game gets to a really creepy, shadowy, startling noises shaking world part and I get scared, I remember that Daniel is supposedly actually there and I am only watching it from the outside and I feel SO BAD for poor, going-insane Daniel. I really get that I'm-crazy-and-scared-and-I-want-to-curl-up-and-die-before-the-monsters-get-me feeling from this. :I

this is awesome i really like the chunky shading and messy textures, the piece really captures the feel of the game...hiding in a corner with your back turned, the only way the game could have been more awesome is if Daniel had a blanket to feebly cower under X'D
