Description
Here's a lean and mean vixen, stalking through some heavily forested area with thick underbrush. This drawing is a coloured version of the black/white inked drawing I uploaded last time.I went loose and spontaneous (which I usually don't) on the background, and careful (as mostly) on the character.
Medium: tablet on Photoshop

That's brilliant. I love how the character's bold, clean lines contrast with the sketchy background. I don't know why but the glasses are a really nice touch!

Thank you for your kind comment!
The "stutter" probably lies with the devArt site, not Windows. I think the site is sometimes too busy serving requests, which is why it stalls.

Using of thick brush on the background and detailing of figure make picture absolutely beautiful, clear and professional looking. It's pleasant to watch it. Night colours turned out very well! I really like clear sharpness of lines and shadows!..

Thanks! As regards the night colours, I am especially pleased with how the light reflections from the moon look. It's a simple touch, but effective.

Yes, and it's not so easy to make those light pieces bright enough, not glaring.
You made it!

Looks very good. I love the sketchy quality of the background, but how the character has a more refined look. And the way you've colored it all looks good. Nice expression, too. Shows emotion well.

Very nice, yes. Love the the lineart (very good work on the vixen), the coloring is awesome, and the background fits very well as it's a forest. The looseness of the background adds effect, making it seem more natural. Very good work, yes yes. Love your style, by the way.

Hey, thanks a lot!
In my opinion, colouring a piece takes some of the attention away from the line art, which is why I uploaded the b/w version separately here -- since I was especially pleased with the line art.

Whoa ! Looks even better ! The nightly feeling looks really really.. nocturnal o.o
It's hard to use only dark colours on a picture, but you did it really well. The whole atmosphere is very involving. The highlights add to it, a lot. Like the way you did the muscles too, and that spear looks superb. Really nice work ~.^

Thanks for the comment! I agree about the moonlight. The picture was really meant to depict a thick jungle at first, but when I began to colour it I wanted to show blue sky for aesthetic reasons, and pale moonlight outlines. That sort of destroyed the jungle feeling, so I guess this is now the English countryside or something.

Note that in this version she wears glasses, which she doesn't in the b/w drawing. I added them after inspiration from your character, because I think it looks damn sexy on SK.

Thanks! Yes, subdued colours seem to be my forte. I don't really like neon colours that seem to glow with a plastic sheen, at least not when it's supposed to be fur.
You think she's sexy, too?
