the moment from the last episode of season 4, The end of time
10th Doctor's regeneration.His "I don't want to go" just broke my heart so I had to draw this..and finish.

Baaaw! Oh God! I DIDN'T WANT YOU TO GO EITHER.
My heart totally melted when he said that. In my head I was thinking, "Yeah this is the end. This is okay. Change is always good. I'm ready for this if he's ready." Then he delivered the line and I was all like, "NOPE NOT READY AAAH." and ate a lot of ice cream most tearfully. Yes. That episode made me a nervous wreck.
Also, nice work on the art! It's so simple, but heartfelt and clean.

Yes perhaps the Doctor that new of his mortality more than any other yet imbraced his agelessness, his ending was more masterpiece than anything but had a feel of epic tragedy and story, a more than tribute worthy character.

No, because it relies entirely on what character you prefer as the doctor. Matt Smith is a lot funnier and intelligent, David Tennant was more serious and human. Both are great actors, and play their roles very well, but it depends on what you prefer.

It's a shame that David left his last few episodes POTD-EOT were the best of his tenure, he was a bit too human for me sometimes though, but he is still among the greats like Troughton, Baker, McCoy and Eccleston.

I was sobbing so hard throughout that entire episode. And when he said that line, I think I actually wailed. It hurt to see him go.

I was lucky enough to visit the TARDIS set after the specials had aired, as both new TARDIS's were in the studios at the point. I got to stand on the same spot that 9 & 10 regenerated. Brought a tear to my eye
