Jury chooses 15 girls from 46 for second part of contest. This two girls were off .maybe I posed to many photos from this competitions and its not DA format? enough?

I'm curious, were the girls required to wear heels? Or was that just a choice on their parts? I only ask because with heels this looks more like a beauty pageant type deal then bodybuilding (of course, I don't know much about bodybuilding comps so maybe that's actually closer to the truth about them in general). I mean, they're very lovely ladies, nicely toned and feminine, and I'm not knocking them for wearing heels (even if it hurts my feet just looking at how high they are! Haha), just curious about it.

Jumping in here - I don't think it's actually required, but for most bodybuilding competitions, at least for the "bikini" ones, the women choose to wear heels because it shows off their calf muscles so well! (and their tushies!)

You know, I hadn't even thought of that but that makes sense! Since I don't wear heels I always forget how awesome they can make the calves and bottom look XD
