He doesn't look real. I keep thinking this isn't a photograph, but it is! Maybe it's the lighting...or my brain is just weird, like I can't believe something that looks like that could be possible, haha! Anyway, great job

Real and possible, but very likely with a bit of help from modern pharmaceuticals

Not necessarily. The muscle mass is definitely attainable with proper diet and exercise. It's the low body fat percentage and muscle definition which is difficult to achieve - that requires a lot of control.

Yes, and I meant it when I wrote "very likely" - if you are very lucky with your genes and consistent in your lifestyle, this is possible. I've seen it, but rare. Most people have genetic disposition to be lean, or to gain muscle mass, few have both. And the use of steroids, growth hormones, diet pills, etc, is quite widespread even in recreational athletes/bodybuilders... it's not just pro sports.
I agree this guy is not extreme and it may well be all natural. If I had to guess, based on the proportions of certain muscles to others, I'd say he probably took a little help. I'm not judging - how you train and what lengths you are willing to go to achieve your goals is a personal decision. I was just responding to the above comment in saying that indeed, looks like this are *often* achieved in not quite natural ways.

Not bad, though the Katana is a slash weapon which requires speed. I would have switched to a long sword of some sort. Something dealing with more brute than speed for this individual.

It's just a model holding a sword. He's not really a ninja just so you know. If he were holding a cheese grater instead that wouldn't exactly make him a chef either.

No but I think that would make him appear more addrogenous which I think would look good.

Interesting, a model built to this degree would probably symbolize a male in it's most masculine form. I'm not quite sure how androgyny would fit in. I think this is far from androgyny. I guess it's a matter of interpretation and taste.

No, no. Someone was talking about him wearing an apron (or something) wouldn't make him a chef just as a katana doesn't make him a ninja. I stated that an apron wouldn't look to bad and would pretty much make an atmosphere of androgyny.

This guy isn't bulky, just muscular. I'm sure his speed isn't hampered a lot, if at all.
