I saw the similarity between a book cover, and your signature spoke volumes. So I felt compelled to see if your comment was due to your insight towards the twilight theme or from your own thoughts. I'm sure the apple in the hand theme was around long before Twilight was. Misconceptions abound it seems, in regards to how you presented your comment to the DD.

Understandable. My comment (in my mind) was due to both really, as both the Twilight cover and the use of stapled apples have been reproduced in abundance throughout deviant art, and my misguided understanding of the Daily Deviation System.
I had actually stated about the use of the apple in the hand theme here: [link] as a response to a childish comment. But you weren't to know, unless, like myself, you habitually peruse the cacophonic clutter of the comments section. Unfortunately my disliking of the Twilight series is ever present, but does not entirely cloud my judgement. (even if I can't watch the Twilight Zone anymore due to the books killing an entire word for me)

After the initial feeling of horror that I could be questioned, this discussion was quite enjoyable afterall, and I find it a shame that some artists on Deviant Art find it appropriate to banish people from their domain for conversing in comments.

I honestly thought it was a parody of the Twilight image...and about how it was like Stephanie Myer stapled a bunch of junk together about vampires and werewolves and out came Twilight (please don't yell at me, Twilight fans. I liked the story and read all the books...just not a fan of how it was written).
Even though it's NOT that, it's a really really awesome image. I *Love* how the wrists are bent!

Ive seen this alot before. My only suggestion is to make it stand out possibly make everything opposite (like a tan hand and a pale hand, a silver chain and a black chain, ect.)

Suggestions? Well, I can only say that maybe it would have helped it the background was completely simetric, it'd've made the apple even more shocking. But I love it the way it is!

You know what was the first thing on my thought? I don't know if somewhere else in the world it's called like that, but in Poland we say, that people look for love, beacuse we're only a half. And we have to find our second half of an apple to be finally complete

On first glance, I thought this was a manip. 
It's even more brilliant now I realize it's a photograph. I absolutely adore it.
My favourite part, I think, are the chains on the model's wrists that sort of bind her to this bizarre apple.
