I like the picture very much. I noticed you ask for advanced critique, so....

if it was me, I would have cut down the flare of the light a little. The contract is just a bit much for me. That might also bring out some of the details in the background, just slightly which would make it even more like the japanese painting.

All in all, wish I had taken the shot Well done
