I totally revamped my standing pony pattern. Hazy Shade is an original My Little Pony character - not really a commission, more of a gift for someone who is VERY picky about their stuffed animals. She's 8.5 inches tall, has a custom dyed pelt and my first use of handmade resin eyes.Hope you like it!

I have this stupid idea on how to make resin eyes like safety eyes. I thought of when I read your resin eye tutorial on your Tumblr.

Β You would do the same thing as normal resin eyes but when its all dry you just hot glue on a flat topped screw onto the flat side. Use a washer or a nut or something toΒ keep itΒ on place at the back.Β Then you fasten it onto the head like a regular safety eye

They're resin half-rounds with the eye artwork printed onto photopaper and glued to the back.

I was curious how you attached the eyes to the body. I have been looking into making my own mold for resin eyes but I am not sure how I would attach them to the head. Any advice would be appreciated.

Sure - I use a glue called E6000, it's very tough and flexible.

I did the art in photoshop, printed it out onto photo paper, and glued that to the back of resin blanks.
