It had been 8 months since Emily and Adrian had confessed their love for each other on the snowy night of Winter. Since then their dark sides hadn't come during the night of the new moon or the full moon. They had no idea why but it hadn't come. It was early July now. The days were longer and then nights shorter but that was changing quickly as it was going to be Fall in a month. They lived in a cave in the forest. The forest was full of trees, flowers, and many pokemon. The two of them looked at the eggs they had. One was white with cream/ tan coloring on it that looked like am eevee's tail tip. The other one was a brown one with a red coloring that looked like an eevee's tail tip. Adrian and Emily knew they were going to be hatching soon. They'd had them for a month. It was exciting. Today was a beautiful, sunny day. Perfect weather. Emily and Adrian looked at the sky and smiled at each other. The sun shined on their fur. Then, Emily noticed one of the eggs flashed.
"Adrian the white and cream one is going to hatch soon," said Emily. Adrian looked at it.
"You're right," said Adrian. "It's very exciting."
"I wonder what it'll look like," said Emily.
"We'll just have to wait and see," said Emily.
That night...
The egg was glowing as bright as the moon. Emily and Adrian sat by it.
"I guess it's time," said Emily.
"I guess so," said Adrian. The egg glowed even brighter and started to take shape. The body shaped and then it's tail. Then, the ears. After the glowing stopped there was a small eevee. Adrian looked at it. The eevee had white fur with a cream/tan scruff and tail tip. It had green eyes and black paws.
"Hello," said Emily walking over to the little eevee.
"Mama," said the eevee.
"Yes. Mama," said Emily. She smiled at the eevee. Adrian walked over.
"Daddy," said the eevee.
"Yes. Me Daddy," said Adrian. The eevee walked around and then lied down against Emily. Emily smiled as the eevee fell asleep.
"What should we name him?" asked Adrian quietly.
"I think he should be called Audre," said Emily.
"Yeah," said Adrian. Adrian scooted the other egg over to the two of them and Emily kept it close. They all fell asleep.
