Emily and Efa stood in the clearing of the forest, horrified. Two motionless figures were lying on the ground. Blood was on both of them. There was a trail of blood coming from one of them that led further in the forest. Emily and Efa looked at each other with fear in their eyes.
"Who could've done this?" Asked Emily.

"The only was to find out is to fallow the trail of blood," said Efa.

"Okay. Lets go. Even if it might get us killed," said Emily and Efa nodded. They walked over to the figures. Both of them had bite marks on them. Emily and Efa walked beside the trail of blood and bloody paw prints. They heard some talking and looked at each other.

"Here we go," whispered Emily.

"Yeah," whispered Efa. They both dashed in and their eyes widened.

"Adrian and Desert," whispered Efa. Emily nodded. Adrian had blood on his paws and his claws. It could be seen even though he had red paws. His fangs could be seen and they had blood on them. Desert had some blood on him but not much. Blood was only on his paws, claws, and a bit of his fur. The two of them looked at Emily and Efa. Neither of them had their jackets or their pants. Adrian grinned at Emily evilly. His red eyes had a gleam in them. Desert just looked at both of them with his brown eyes.

"I guess you two killed the pokemon back there," said Efa.

"Yeah," said Desert. Emily and Efa looked at each other. When they looked back Adrian had vanished from Desert's side.

"Where did Adrian go?" Asked Efa.

"I don't know," said Desert with a smirk. Emily looked around only to all of a sudden be grabbed and lifted high into the air. She looked up to see who it was. It was Adrian in his dark skarmory form. Efa looked over to see Emily was gone.

"Help!!" Screamed Emily in fear. Efa looked up to see Emily. She was about to use her shadow fire when Desert used a move. Suddenly Efa started sinking. Desert grinned.

"It's quicksand," said Efa.

"This'll be your end," said Desert. Emily cried, watching her friend going down in the sand, choking on sand. Then, Emily was flown off by Adrian skarmory. His claws, talons, whatever held Emily tighter making a bit of blood come from her shoulders. Adrian set her down on a mountain top. He landed on the mountain top and changed back into his regular form, an eevee.

"Adrian. What happened to you?" Asked Emily.

"You don't need to know," said Adrian, a shadow came over his face. He looked up. Then, Emily noticed a scar on Adrian's cheek. It had had three marks.

"Why did you bring me here?" She asked. Wind blew hard and went through her fur.

"You'll see. Just close your eyes and stand still. Don't run away," said Adrian. Emily didn't like the sound of it but she stood there and closed her eyes. Adrian grinned evilly. Emily heard his paw steps getting closer. Then, he stopped in front of her. Emily kept her eyes closed but then she felt his breathe near her neck. Then, she opened her eyes and quickly backed away.

"Y-you tried to bite me. I thought you were trying to protect me from that happening," said Emily, her eyes tearing up. "First, I see my friend sinking in quicksand. Then, I'm taken to a mountain top and almost turned into a vampire by my mate who said he'de protect me from that happening." Emily cried, looked over the edge, and saw the forest way below.

"I wouldn't try it. You'd kill yourself if you made that jump," said Adrian. Emily closed her eyes. She jumped and started falling. Then, she was caught by a dark pidgeotto and brought back to the mountain top. She was set down by the dark pidgeotto. The dark pidgeotto changed back to Adrian, in front of Emily.

"Emily. Even if I have changed in ways doesn't mean my feelings for you have. I still love you," said Adrian before going for Emily to lick her cheek. But Emily backed away.

"I just don't think I can trust you. I'm sorry Adrian," said Emily. Adrian nodded and then he got Emily into a pin. Emily's eyes widens in fear. Then, Adrian bit her neak. She set herself on fire with shadow fire and he jumped off. Hew. He didn't take enough to change me.

Then, Emily stopped the fire. Her neak was bleeding a bit. Emily wipped the tears from her eyes and it was replaced by the fire her eyes. She set herself ablaze. Then, it started to rain after water was shot into the air. It poured down and the wind blew hard. Emily's shadow fire still stayed lit. Adrian looked like he was in pain. He looked at Emily and then Emily's eyes widened. She remembered back at camp when it rained. Adrian had said that since rain water was so pure it hurt him. My memory is coming back so quickly. Adrian fell onto his side and Emily ran over to him. Then, she used her shadow fire to make a small dome around them, with just a few holes to let air in. The rain didn't get through. Adrian was breathing regularly and he got up.

"Your shadow fire saved me," said Adrian.

"Yeah," said Emily with a smile. "But it's still raining."

"There's four pokemon left so we're going to go on to the death match," said a voice. Four pokemon. That means Efa could be dead. But I didn't hear a cannon.

GO!!!" Said the voice before Emily and Adrian were transported into a smaller area. It was the forest. Emily and Adrian looked around and then at each other.

"The forest of both of our old homes. I believe my home is that way," said Adrian, pointing toward his home.

"My old home is that way," said Emily pointing in the direction of hers. They looked across the clearing. There was Desert. Then, a few yards away from him was a mudkip.

"That must've been who caused the rain," said Emily.

"Yeah," said Adrian. "Let's go." He looked into Emily's eyes and she nodded. They dashed off toward Emily's old home. Adrian slowed down to be side by side with Emily. They made it to Emily's old home and went into the tunnel. It was like Emily remembered. It was just a large clearing and the book was back on the ground again. She ran over to it.

"What's that?" Asked Adrian coming beside her.

"It's a book full of many memories. Every one in the family wrote or drew something in it," said Emily. She flipped through the pages. Then, she came to a drawing.

"That's a drawing I drew a little while before I was stolen and turned dark," said Emily. Then, she turned the page. It had another picture.

"This is the picture my younger sister, Neamo drew," said Emily. Adrian nodded. Then, the ground rumbled.

"We need to get out of here!" Yelled Emily. But it was too late the walls collapsed on top of them and dirt filled their mouths. Emily kept one paw on the book and the other on Adrian's paw.
