A few weeks later...
Audre and Flower were gone to the moonpond. Gardevoir came to Kimi, Adrian, and Emily.

"I think you've all been trustworthy and faithful to the clan. So, I'll accept you three as warriors," she said. She put her hand on their heads like she does when she changes an apprentice into a warrior.

"I'll think of your warrior names as soon as I can," said Gardevoir before walking away. Keeran and Sabre ran over to them.

"Congradgulations. You were accepted," said Keeran.

"Yeah," said Emily. Then, Violetfur walked over to them.

"Would you three like to do border patrol with me?" She asked.

"I would go but Sabre and I have to do battle training. Bye you guys," said Keeran before walking out of camp with Sabre.

"Sure. We'll do border patrol," said Adrian. Emily and Kimi nodded. The four of them left camp and went over to the BlazingDesertClan border. On the right side of the border were some pokemon. Emily, Adrian, Kimi, and Violetfur marked the border. Then, they walked over to the DarkClan border a mightyena stood there. When he saw them he walked to the edge of the border.

"What is it Darkclaw?" Asked Violetfur.

"Bladestar wants to talk to Emily and Adrian," said Darkclaw.

"Are you okay with that?" Asked Violetfur. "Ill tell Gardevoir where you are."

"Okay," said Adrian before he and Emily went across the border.

"Fallow me," said the mightyena.

"Okay," said Emily. Darkclaw bounded off and Adrian and Emily ran after him. The trees that went past looked like blurs. Soon they reached a wall of thorns and they went through them. When they got into the camp the dark Pokemon looked at them.

"Wait here," said Darkclaw before running into a den. Emily and Adrian sat down. The absol that they had seen a week ago came out and walked over to them.

"Hello Emily and Adrian," she said.

"Hello Bladestar," said Emily and Adrian. She looked at them both, studying each of them thoroughly.

"Your the dark shape-shifter and you have a strong dark side," she said.

"How did you know?" Asked Adrian.

"I can just tell. After being around dark Pokemon for a while," she said. "I'm going to test you."

"W-Why I thought we were only here to talk to you," said Adrisn.

"That was a cover. I knew you were both dark so I had to get ahold of you and test your strengths," said Bladestar. "It's only natural for a dark to test a dark."

Then, the mightyena that had led them here came out.

"Adrian can go first," said Bladestar before walking out of move range.

"This was not at all what was planned. But we have to," said Adrian. Emily nodded and stepped back. Adrian stepped forward a step. The mightyena used flamethrower and Adrian dodged with speed and then used quick attack, speeding himself up even more. The quick attack hit Darkclaw. Then, Adrian used bite. After that he used iron tail and the mightyena left the field. Emily stepped beside Adrian. Then, Emily battled. This went on till an eevee stepped up to battle. Emily's eyes widened at the familiar looking eevee.

"R-Rose," she whispered. The eevee looked at Emily.

"Mom," she whispered. "I-I can't talk to you right now. We have to battle."

Emily nodded. Rose unsheathed her claws and her fangs showed.

"But I'm not going easy on you," said Rose.

"I wouldn't expect you to," said Emily before unsheathing her claws. Rose used double team and then fired multiple shadow balls. Emily used dig to dodge. The double team disappeared when Emily came up from the ground. Emily and Rose used iron tail and then they both used shadow ball. Both of the moves were even. Then, Rose ran over to Emily and scratched her with her thorn-sharp claws. Emily squeaked a bit but she bit Rose. Then, they both used shadow ball. They both hit each other.

"I give up," said Rose and Emily breathing hard. Blade claw nodded.

"Very well. I'll let Emily rest before her and I's battle," she said. Emily nodded before going over to Adrian with Rose.

"Rose how did you end up here. I thought you died," said Adrian.

"I did. But remember the prophecy. I came back. But I'm still not sure what the thorns part is about," said Rose. "A dark pokemon helped me come back."

"Okay. You battled well," said Emily.

"You too mom," said Rose. When Emily had healed Bladestar and her began to battle. Emily used iron tail when she used thunder. Then, she used razor wind. Emily felt heat go through her and something stirring. She dodged. Then, her left front paw burned and a circle of black fire surrounded her. Emily scared because she knew she was doing it. The razor wind was burned by the fire. Bladestar had a smile on her face.

"Let's end it there," she said. Emily nodded, her eyes filled with fear. Bladestar got close to the fire.

"Emily. Try to stop the fire," she said.

"How?!" Called Emily.

"Calm yourself," said Bladestar. Emily closed her eyes and focused on the flames dissolving and they were gone when she opened her eyes.

"That was shadow fire," said Emily fearfully.

"Yeah," said Bladestar before walking over to Emily. "It means your dark side is strong. You need to be careful. This is the main reason I brought you here. At the gathering I felt a strong, dark, aura and when I saw you I knew it was from you."

"Thank you Bladestar. I knew that when I saw the black flame mark on my paw that my dark form was stronger. It worries me for the new moon in a few days," said Emily.

"I understand. I'll try to watch you on the new moon night. Who knows what may happen," she said. Then, Adrian and Emily left, saying goodbye to Rose first. They went back to LightClan camp.
