(they/them pronouns are preferred both for me as well as the character in the icon, I don't usually emphasize that fact but I understand it can be confusing)Gently sweats because I don't know how to work with colours
But, Pride Month is coming up, and I wanted a Twitter icon for the month even if I haven't really had a flag icon before (that I can remember?) so yea! Here it is
These flags are maybe probably confusing together but listen,, identity is Complicated and also I'm not open about gender stuff in real life so it's basically different parts of my life coming together, you feel me. Possibly not. I was going to go with just the agender flag because it's nicely defined but I like girls and that's also a big part of my identity so I wanted to include that, you feel. Hi

Basically it's a month to commemorate the Stonewall riots and the impact LGBT+ people have had on the world! Many people use it to show their identities and to practice self acceptance when that's normally difficult for them.

Yeeee! I don't really ID with female things, but I'm not out about anything gender-wise in person, and also my native language (Dutch) has no they/them pronoun equivalent. But for some reason, in Dutch I don't mind as much when there's the context of "but a lesbian". It's weird because in English, when someone says "she" I don't even consider they could be talking about me anymore because I'm so used to they/them in online spaces and by online friends
I get you,,, it doesn't feel right for me to say pan or bi because I'm attracted to girls and feminine/androgynous nonbinary people, and while bi/pan can mean some genders and not all of them, it still carries the implication of "potentially into men" and I just don't feel it's right for me, you know? I still go by homosexual because it's like. Into the same gender that I actually am (nonbinary people) and also into the gender people in person perceive me to be (girls) so either way it's correct for me. That was a lot of text but. Yea.

My datefriend has the same native language issue! No they/them pronouns in Slovak. :/ I went from "straight" to bi to lesbian to polysexual (attracted to multiple but not all genders) and then landed on pan/queer but I still wouldn't really want to date a Man lol bye
