Description I couple of weeks ago I started reading Homestuck.
I read about 3 acts in one day.

I stayed a fan in secret due to the fear of hate for it but really, what's the worse that could happen? If I loose followers because I like Homestuck, then those followers were just not worth my time.

O_O I JUST started reading homestuck! Wow, why is it when I start doing stuff, the fanart just pops in front of my face?? This is totally awesome, and I have to say that I am totally lost while reading homestuck, though I'm only on the first act since I don't really do more then a few pages a day...
This is a nice drawing of John, by the way. I'm always amazed that homestuck fanart looks NOTHING like actual art. Still, I'm also amazed that homestuck is ust made using microsoft paint. I sure couldn't do that, lol.

I know the feeling man! When I started reading a lot of my online friends started as well XD

The greatest tip I have recieved about homestuck is following:
1. Don't try to understand it, some parts are ment to be fucked up, other Γ₯parts will be answered acts later.
2. DON'T SKIP THE PESTERLOGS! ALWAYS READ THE PESTERLOGS!! (seriosuly they cover like 80% of the explanaions)

Yeah the art is amazing <3 I love how the characters look nothing like the original yet you can still tell who they are c:

I haven't gotten so far into the story but as far as I know it's about a group of kids who starts playing a game and they sort of get sucked into the game? XD

Most people claim that not even the Homestuck fans truly know what homestuck is about so it's kinda hard to explain XD

It's just that I've seen so much hate towards homestuck and homestuck-fans
I've seen someone seriously write in a journal that if she sees any homestuck related art she'll block the artist.
But I figured if I had those kind of watchers they simply wouldn't be wort my time and effort anyway.

Wow, seriously? That's completely ridiculous. I mean, obviously there are some fandoms that I don't like. But wanting them to get banned from conventions and blocking someone just because they like? It isn't just melodramatic but it seems mean in a way. I wish people could just respect the fact that others have diferent interests than they do.
