Description
This was commissioned by JD in October of 2010, but due to it's sketch nature, it didn't have a good home until now. True, there's no 3/4 view, or side view, so it's not technically a turnaround, but what other term is applicable? Well if I had to invent one, I'd call it a fliparound.I altered it a little bit, making the cyan lines black so people could see this a little better.
Anyways, this is Butch, from Eager Beaver ( [link] ) I hope you like it.

Butch certainly struck a chord. Maybe I should draw more muscle girls.

One of my favorite girl in your gallery.
If you have 3d modelers friends this reference would be great to make 3d model of Butch.

I dunno if it's about the short hair, the work outfit, the sweat or just the boobz but I've always found the Eager Beaver girl quite attractive.
I love sketches and WIP pics. You should post more sketch commissions. Sure you have a ton stored, and the fans would thank it :3

Actually this was the only sketch commission I've received. I do have a ton of regular WIP sketches though.

Wait- who said it ended? I actually wanted to write a part two to Eager Beaver (just them talking over their beers), but drawing it proved trickier. I guess I gave up on that :]

I do hate waiting so long to post a part 2... Maybe I work in what she was going to say into the next separate story? It's difficult to say.

Oh wow, I love things like this. Best I can see is that one image is flipped from the other, so did you draw the entire person, flip and erase/add where necessary to make the other side, or did you draw the entire outline of the person, copy and flip and then have two blank canvases, so to speak, to add the front to one and the back to the other? Or something entirely different?
Having said all that, that Eager Beaver picture stands out as one of my very favorites so it's pretty darn righteous to see something of a behind-the-scenes picture like this of it.

I'm looking at the psd now. I'm guessing I drew the front view first, then copied and flipped it, erased most of the interior and used the silhouette as the foundation for the back. At first when I got the commission, I thought all of that flip-floppery would be a time-saver, but getting everything to agree was harder than I imagined.
I like the way it turned out though. I'm glad I finally had a chance to share this.
